who wants honey?

new nostalgia tinged inspiration!! (shocker)
i have decided to fight the cold rainy sunday blahness (and SERIOUSLY procrastinate on other things) with music that makes me be a goofball. this song will ALWAYS make me want to jump around and yell out the lyrics...i am pretty sure i was fairly miserable at 15 when i first livvvvvved for this video but in my MEMORY all i get is happy thoughts.

ok, so, some style notes. inspiration time you guys!

1 i love this era of billy corgan...lanky ice cream man with purple socks! i am really into it. the bowtie is pretty boss too. and at the end...all paint-bloodied with a cowboy hat? hot!

2 remems when rock bros were all about wearing dresses? like kurt cobain and whatevs? i like how james iha is wearing this dress for no other reason than, like, it was maybe hot out that day so why NOT wear a breezy tank dress? (also- his pilgrim-y side buckle shoes are looking pretty cool to me, my friend ivan rocks a brown pair kinda like these and i think they are pretty shweet)

3 darcy is kind of the sickness..i may need to dedicate a whole blog post to her soon. here's one of the few acceptable examples of braided pigtails on an adult woman. also the face paint is sooo comme des garcons!

4 bonus life note: menage-a-makeout on deserted hillside? so needed, like RIGHT NOW.

ps, 90s related (duh): i have been wearing my old knee high 20-eye docs all over town. tomorrow i think i might wear them to work. this seems semi-inappropriate to me, but i figure if i can get 'cameltoe' onto our website i can wear combat boots in the office. right?
