prints and the new power generation

i got these jeffrey campbell platforms a few months ago at the oak sample sale for 20 bones.
they seem ridiculous but i saw aya there, she fully supported the decision and thought what i thought:

they are a poor gal's terry de havilland.
so there.
that's my story and i'm sticking to it.

ps if you're wondering, yes. i just went for it today.
if it was cold enough for a coat, i woulda worn my really old blue plaid marcbymarc.
because why not just go all the way?

pps..leaves on the the ground!!! yaaaay falllllll

EDIT ppps
for laia, cuz she asked:

this shiz was floor length. from the dead-and-gone ave A flea last fallish.
my tailor on houston dutifully hemmed it and as always, his wife gave me the hairy why-are-you-so-weird eyeball.

I know how you feel about Autumn and the wardrobe amazingness that comes with it.

I, as a polar opposite, am full on summer today. That black hawaiian dress you gave me and some braided sandals. give me sun or give me death.

fuck that is MAYJAH! Those sleeves are amazing. I love that they contrast with the rest of the dress.

today would be a good day for you to run into the facehunter or something :)
