that, my dearests, is a pink HOLE baby barrette with gold glitter.
yes, you heard me right.
purchased in feb. 1995 during the 'live through this' tour.
the show was at roseland, and i went mainly as the 15 year old chaperone for my 13 year old sister and her friend (eva?) that were DYING to go.
what if i wore this thing???
dear god i hope i have a kid someday that cares about all this junk.
**EDIT: i love finding out that friends i have NOW like elizabeth and trudy were at that show too !! yahhhhhh!
*also found: sailor moon barrettes, a backstage pass for lollapalooza 94, and a smashing pumpkins guitar pick that billy corgan HIMSELF gave me. will be posted another day!

It's so weird that Love, Corgan, shit even Nirvana are cool now. I feel like that guy saw The Doors live and then wondered why kids in the 90s cared about Jim Morrison. Do you know what I mean? It's so weird to see these 15-16 year old kids blogging about our generation. It makes me laugh, sell that Hole thing on ebay...cash in!

oh the memories. I got shizz like that hidden away somewhere...With this whole 90's revival BS I can't decide whether to move on or dig it out. Maybe I should just embrace it too...

was at Day 2 of that show. Courtney pulled me on stage, Cox-Arquette style and I played Miss World on her guitar. At the time I thought, "Now I can actually die."
I've probably listened to Hole more than any other music in my lifetime. The best music. Even her solo album I loved!
i do want this barrette.. even though i am 29 with 2 kids i still think i could easily get away with it haha! i was so angst as a teen i remember loving hole so much
