just trust me

girlstyle i love that will never be able to rock:

mary stuart masterson in fried green tomatoes.
no, i'm serious.
she was so best in this.

it's tough messy sexy country tomboy hotness.
it's so fucking GOOD.
she wears brogues and untied ankle boots the whole time too, love it. why can't i live it???

oh right, i'm not a feisty southern gal with a questionable relationship with my ladyfriend in 1930s alabama.
also, i look stupid in pants.

ps, chloe sevz knows the scene, this shit is so her. trust me on this!

It was this movie that caused me to wrap my body in saran wrap for a valentine's day present to my high school boyfriend. WTF?! True story though.

Sidebar: It was yellow saran wrap!!! That ain't sexy! Sigh the humble beginnings of my sexy life I guess.

Girl, don't even! I can SO picture you rocking some sweet overalls (maybe skirt-alls?) with your badass new combat boots. SAY YES.

i also imagine that this scene is for chloe, because I think she look great on anything. clémence poésy should also be an option, and I really love the style, specially the idea of braids

AH! So love this. Love the movie, love Mary Stuart Masterson AND Mary Louise Parker, love their pseudo-ambiguous (but come on, not really THAT ambiguous) relationship in the movie, love both of their styles (and Kathy Bates for that matter), and love your blog in general! Thanks!
