you can take the girl out of wifi but you can't take the wifi out of the girl

HI! My name is Elizabeth and I am addicted to the internet.
I thought I could handle staying somewhere without it and it is proving SO FUCKING HARD! (Even though my friends rule and their house is the best).
So posting will be a little spotty until next week when I housesit for friends who are as innanets insane as me, and have weefee a la casa.

I have problems (we know this).

So..vacation! Portland is GREAT, thanks for asking!

ONE OF FAVORITE PLACES IN THE WORLD. JUST IGNORE THE METH HEADS, IT IS A TREASURE TROVE.

Yesterday Audra & I went full tilt on the thrift/vintage hunt, so much so that I got overwhelmed and bought almost nothing. WHAT! Have I gone soft?!

NEW SHOES! WHO CARES? ME!

DENIM JACKET: vintage, little boy's French Toast, thrifted in CT
LEOPARD TEE: H&M
POLKA DOT SKIRT: H&M
SUEDE SHOES: Chinese Laundry, thrifted yesterday, at my haven pictured above, $1 !
SUNGLASSES: Alexander Wang for Linda Farrow

*Important note: A crazy woman in the Goodwill who was looking for opinion on which jacket to buy (ugly, uglier, or most ugly EVER) deemed my choice useless once she really looked at my outfit!
I deemed her opinion of my opinion COMPLIMENTARY once I saw her lack of teeth.

WIN/ WIN!

I think I might have to go back today and buy this dress I passed on yesterday. It's so partytimes! I can wear it during fashion week! (Self-convincing lies!)

Ok so, before you think I have TOTALLY lost it, I did buy a couple of things.
One being this bag that I think may change my life.

This Egyptian delight came into my life at House of Vintage, which is where all my dreams come true.

ISIS & TEMPLE OF DENDUR FOR LOUIS VUITTON, RESORT 15 BC

I also bought a velvet bomber jacket with strange metallic detailing and a really ugly shirt! Yaaay, pics to come!

PS There is a heat wave coming here this weekend.
I know you miss me New York but sending me your fucked up weather is NOT THE WAY TO SHOW YOU CARE.

Good stuff, I've also found some good vintage stuff at Rad Summer on east Burnside and the William Temple house store off of NW 23rd.
