Crafternoon: Paper Proenza

You guys know I love a crafternoon, especially one that can be done with whatever I have at home and/or something I can get at Duane Reade and so..construction paper has been my material of choice lately.

I made a PS1 for my friend Andrea's birthday card..the clasp really worked and the message was written on the inside !

I mean...it's not so bad for paper, glue stick & Scotch tape, right?
And really, I am not repulsed by this colorway..it's like a Proenza Schouler x Playskool collab. (wait..genius or GENIUS?)
Perhaps this is the best way to deal with my wishlists, rendering my fashion dreams outta scissors and tape. it's cathartic! (sigh)

So what should I make next?!

how odd to read this today; a couple hours ago I was remember a time when my kid sister made a paper backpack at a friend's house...
I propose you make paper jewelry next, like a giant bib necklace

Too cool. Following 100+ blogs a day, this is definitely unique. You should do a whole series of paper miniatures...

hi, let's be frieeends.
so that you can make me a WL x miu miu collar and a paper proenza schouler bag (make it waterproof please) for my birthday.
you can also throw in your too cool for skool (skool=> playskool, because of your reference to playskool, getit?) sunglasses.

alrighty then.

Crafting is the best. It is even better when you are older because you realize how much better you are at it now versus when you were 5 years old and someone was making you cut on the lines. I love when I can mix youth and style.

What a great idea!

IMHO you haven't lived until you've spent an evening making all sorts of crowns out of pipe cleaners. I'm just saying....
