So this week I am on "vacation".
The QUOTES are there because I am not really going anywhere; rather I just won't really be actively earning any income and instead I will be making my apartment a place in which I actually ENJOY living.

SO I am planning today, in this COMFORTABLE, EASY 93 DEGREE WEATHER [we call this "sarcasm"] to haul heavy boxes from my storage space to my home space, paint my bedroom and finally settle in.

I mean, I've only been in here since November. Always timely, this girl here.

The tattoo artist's collab showed up in a bunch of patterns and lasercut prints for bags and clothes, but the model's fake runway tats were the best part of his work with LV, real talk.
It's a fleeting detail if you look through the Style.com slideshow, such a bummer, I would love to see close-ups like this of each one.

Note: this model's right nipple is slightly unnerving.

Also: Is it just me or is this model a teen vampire/zombie? Why do his eyes, aside from holding on to to hundreds of years of living trapped in a young man's body, seem to say I WILL EAT YOUR BRAINS?

My friends The Walkmen  have just announced their new record, Lisbon. It's out September 14th! I was very happy to accept the job of designing their album art (I also did You & Me), I love these guys.

I don't do a lot of photomontage but I kinda went for it on this one..I like it. Maybe I need to get WEIRD with more of my pix here on the blogue?

Credit where credit is due: The photography I used is by Luigi Ghirri and the font is Austin (a new favorite, look at that K!) by Commercial type foundry.

I am really not feeling "outfit post" blogging as of late, do you guys hate me? It's fucking hot, and I feel less than CAMERA READY.

I was in a photo shoot today. Half new fall stuff, half my own stuff. I basically had a panic attack and the photographer  and editor (<3 you Anna & Lisa) had to chill me the fuck out.

A couple quick shots I took of MNDR when I styled her for her most recent shoot...waiting for the photographer to send me all the backstage stuff I shot on his digital camera! So here a couple phone pix I snapped while I wasn't getting sweaty and frizzy haired and looking out for camel toe (major hazard in a SHORTS story).

This rooftop was akin to standing inside of the giant JiffyPop balloon as you shakeshakeshake it on your stove. But this one stayed so COOOLED OUT, even in long-sleeved leathuhhhh

We went to a wedding! It was a Hindu ceremony and now I wanna wear saris.

PS, I pruned Hunter's beard before the ceremony, and NOW I get why people get really into gardening- it really brings out your OCD perfectionist side!

I am in love with the photos that people are sending us of their First Kiss zines !! It is way beyond exciting to see them out in the world.

Here is a total fave that I could NOT wait to show everyone: Hunter's friend Colin Foord whose company Coral Morphopologic, "serves to connect discerning, conscientious aquarists with the highest quality Floridian corallimorphs, ricordea, and zoanthids" (I think that basically means they breed and sell amazing corals and things? RAD!), sent us a gorgeous photo of FK communing with nature...

Every time I head to Kat's country house, I am like a Fresh Air FUnd kid, basically. We went to a farm to pick our own berries and they had some animals and I was like..THAT'S WHAT TURKEYS LOOK LIKE? WTF?

I drank a Budweiser barefoot while we drove to a farmstand. We cooked thangs all weekend and I now have a dangerous addiction to rhubarb.
