I wear this shirt like twice a week. I love you, Lover !
It's so cool and floaty. It's a cape, but it's a shirt but it's silk and really it's a cape. I ADORE IT.

The skirt is unbelievably blinding in the summer (WHERE IS SPRING, WHY DO WE ALWAYS HAVE TO SKIP IT, NEW YORK?) sun. I am now a little bit obsessed to ADAM skirts? There was a floorlength white lace one that I kinda wanna go back to the store for...

Sunglass HUt sent me these Caravan sunnie g's that are pretty cool- I can switch out the lenses to either be black, mirrored, or gradations. I think you can get ones that have a colored set of lenses too. I have never owned real Ray-Bans before, I have always borrowed...how crazy is that?!?! I love these.

I am off to battle the rising humidity, which begins the Season of Frizz. Oh joy, thy name is NYC Summer.

Favorite Things: Eleven Objects Collars

Not sure how I was blessed with an abundance of fantastically talented friends but I WAS OK? I guess it comes from being born under a good sign (SCORPS4LYFE). My girl Chrissy has a new venture with her friend Linh called Eleven Objects- they make gorgeous collars that you can wear with anything (or nothing? hey I like your style!)

I am lucky enough to own 2 Eleven Objects collars and I heart them bigtimes- plus people stop you to ask where to get them.

They're amazingly constructed and such a DUH WHY DOESNT EVERYONE HAVE THESE? sort of thing. As you can see in the pix of my fellow bloggahs above, even bros can rock these out (altho Steve is hard to compete with ) (um helloooo Andrew Mukamal, where you at?).

Recent Acquisition: Prada SS11 baroque sunglasses

Weelllllll so this happened yesterday.

WHOOPS.

Well, I have been lusting over them since the shows.

The good people at Bergdorf Goodman heard my plea to order more more pairs and they did and I love them and I love these sunglasses. TOO BAD ITS GREY AND RAINY IN NEW YORK TODAY.

Currently Into: Japanese Nail Mania

I recently got my nails did.

Not like, the regs 20 mins "Pick your cuh-lah" whatevs manicure that I usually get (when I don't do a red red shellac), but a serious gelled up sparklefest nail situation painted on with like 3 hairs tied to a stick by an adorable Japanese girl who thought my first timer choices were very "conservative".

I was brought to Sakura by my friend Anaheed who is an old pro at this nail game- she had a plan and photos and a whole thing. I was like.."Oh um..can you copy this lightning bolt tattoo on my arm, and can I mabes get some jewels?" Anaheed got stars n gold glitter and was a star customer. I need to work up to this status, IT WAS MY FIRST TIME OKAY?!

I resolve to commit to memory every new style in the latest issue of Nail Up! so that next time I will do better, weirder, and more extravagant.
I want like, 3D castles built up and shit.
Maybe my own face painted on a pinkie nail.
My crush's name spelled in braille rhinestones across all ten nails?
